This is my first attempt at the new Rodimus from Transformers: Animated. I REALLY wanted SOMETHING done soon from this series in honour of the new season starting. Rodimus instantly left an impression on me, I hope he has some further appearances (and a vehicle mode!) Not to mention they got friggin' Judd Nelson back to voice him, thats pretty sweet :-P
Luckily this "dry run" was successful, and I will definately return to this guy sometime soon, at some point I need to do something with him and his crossbow thingy. I hope you all like it  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. i wasn't much of a rodimus prime fan (or many other movie/post movie g1 characters for that matter), but i did like hot rod. i'm guessing since they just called him "rodimus" in the show and since that seems to be what they're calling hot rod now, he's not a prime and doesn't turn into a lame winnebago.
also just wanted to point out that i like this drawing just as much as the beginning of "transwarped", which is a lot.
